A Secret Powers Training Collar with Quick Release Snap - Tie Die on Orange

SMALL: These are 1.5mm micro prongs, typically for smaller breeds and can also be used larger breed dogs with short fur. They are made on 1 inch lightweight nylon webbing. 

MEDIUM: Our most popular size! The medium size is a 2.3mm prong and a nice option for your dog who sits on the fence between small size and large size and has a short to medium coat. They are made on 1.5 inch nylon webbing.

LARGE: This is a large, heavy gauge 3.2mm prong made for dogs with a heavy coat or are double coated. The large prong is to be able to push through the heavy coat. This collar will stick out from the neck if the coat is not thick or long enough for the heavy coat to conceal the large prongs. They are made on 1.5 inch nylon webbing. Most dogs won’t need this collar! When in doubt we recommending sizing down.

Neck Measurement for Prong Collar should be taken “snug” immediately behind the dogs ears! Line "B" in diagram.

2.3mm PRONG APPROXIMATE  FIT GUIDELINES:  

·       4 Prong Opens 11″ to 19″ fits neck 12″ to 15″

·       6 Prong Opens 13.5″ to 21″ fits neck 14.5″ to 17.5″

·       8 Prong Opens 15″ to 24″ fits neck 16.5″ to 20″

·       10 Prong Opens 17.5″ to 27″ fits neck 19″to 23″

·       12 Prong Opens 19″ to 29″ fits neck 21.5″ to 25″

·       14 Prong Opens 21″ to 33″ fits neck 24″ to 29″

All 4, 10, 12, and 14 prongs may take up 2-4 weeks to ship.

3.2mm PRONG APPROXIMATE  FIT GUIDELINES:  

For heavy/thick coated dogs the prongs being larger make the collar larger by one size. If the chart indicates a 10 Prong on the 2.3mm, order an 8 Prong in the 3.2.
